In his role as the local board Chair for the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), Rob Cote was recently featured on Fox2 Detroit and DBusiness to highlight the Global Student Entrepreneurs Awards (GSEA) competition. Qualifying student entrepreneurs from colleges and universities across the state of Michigan gathered last week to pitch their business to a group of independent judges who scored each contestant across 10 different categories. The top prize of $7,500 was awarded to BRCE (www.brce.shop) for an innovative shoelace that uses a proprietary micro-technology that stops it from untying during sporting and other activity-based events.
